Imran urges newly elected MPs to actively participate in lawmaking

Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan has urged the newly elected members to participate actively in the parliament for lawmaking.
This was stated by PTI Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry while talking to media after a banquet hosted by Imran Khan in honor of newly elected parliamentarians of his party and allied parties in Islamabad.
Imran Khan told the gathering that prestige of parliament will be restored and it will be given due importance in all issues.
Fawad Chaudhry said course of action regarding the election of speaker and deputy speaker was also discussed on the occasion.
He said the newly-elected members were also given briefing on the procedure of election of speaker, deputy speaker and also the Prime Minister.
Replying to a question, Fawad Chaudhry said we have more than 180 members and we will win the election of speaker and deputy speaker comfortably.
