Election drama in IOK has proved flop shop as Kashmiris boycott poll

ISLAMABAD: The joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in Indian occupied Kashmir, has criticized the puppet administration for staging an election drama in the territory amidst crackdown and heavy deployment of Indian police and troops saying that it is a slur on the so-called Indian democracy.

Accordingto kashmir Media service, the leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that the puppet authorities were deliberately adding fuel to fire and vitiating prevailing grim situation.

Re-poling in Budgam and rescheduling sham polls in Islamabad constituency is just to affect the routine life and school education, they said.

"In poll-bound areas of Budgam, police launched a crackdowna against youth and created panic, but the election drama once again proved a flop show.

"We ask New Delhi and its henchmen to stop these flop shows as these foolish moves are proving a nuisance and a reason for continued bloodshed," they said.

The resistance leaders asked the Indian authorities to accept the reality and shun their egoistic approach.

They maintained that right to self-determination is a viable andwp-admin/post-new.php#wpseo_content acceptable solution to Kashmir dispute that will pave way for political stability in the region. (APP)
