US Military increase deadly air strikes against Afghan Taliban, Number of casualties reported

KABUL - US Military increase deadly air strikes against Afghan Taliban.

The U.S. forces conducted series of airstrikes in Paktiya province which inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants.

The 203rd Thunder Corps said in a statement that the U.S. forces conducted the airstrikes in Sargul and Mastangi areas of Zazai Aryoub district.

The statement further added that the airstrikes killed at least 14 Taliban militants and wounded 8 others, Khaama Press has reported.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the airstrikes also killed Gul Nazar, Qari Jamal alias Fedayee and Najeeb, the three local commanders of Taliban in Paktiya.

The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the U.S. forces conducted separate airstrikes in Aab Band district of Ghazni province killed 3 Taliban militants and wounded 5 others.
