ISLAMABAD – Accountability court on Thursday has resumed hearing of Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik praised the former first lady Kulsoom Nawaz and called her a national figure.
He heard the case during which, Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head Wajid Zia said that Supreme Court (SC) verbally ordered to seal Volume 10 of the report.
Khawaja Haris, the counsel of Nawaz Sharif, continued cross examination of JIT head Wajid Zia.
Earlier, the hearing of the references was adjourned due to absence of Nawaz Sharif, following death of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz.
The judge paid tribute to Kulsoom Nawaz by calling her a national figure. He also prayed for the departed soul.
