TAPI gas pipeline project kicked off, will enter Pakistan from Chaman border

ISLAMABAD: The Senate was informed on Wednesday that Turkmenistan government has started development of gas field of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas project.
Replying to a question during the question hour, Minister of State for Energy Jam Kamal Khan informed the House that the project is scheduled to be completed by December 2020.
The Minister of State said the pipeline will enter Pakistan from Chaman Border.
It will follow the route through Quetta, Pishin and Multan from where the pipeline will be linked with India.
