PIA takes yet another big decision over fleet enlargement
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan International airline PIA has decided to increase the number of its domestic flights on a daily basis and to lease five more flights to new routes to foreign countries.
Spokesman PIA Mashhad Tajur confirmed that the arrival of these five aircraft will increase the number of aircraft in the fleet to 36.
According to details, the PIA administration has decided to operate one flight every three to four hours for domestic routes, especially Islamabad and Lahore.
At present, there are four flights operating from morning to night and three for Lahore, which has been decided to increase to six for Islamabad and five for Lahore.
