ISLAMABAD - Pakistan PM Imran Khan seek $50 billion investment for Pakistan during the next decade with his successful visit of China and the start of the CPEC phase two.

The former chairman said that because of the steps taken by the government, it was felt that the CPEC project would be completed quickly and the economy would improve. He said that an ordinance has been issued by the President of Pakistan in this regard.

Import goods consignments have been given full exemption of duty as it has been given the Export Processing Zone status and now we expect that fast export companies will come to invest in Gwadar and employ new industries in the country.

He said the Balochistan government was concerned that locals would not be provided jobs in Gwadar, but China has clearly stated that more jobs will be provided to locals in the industries established in Gwadar. The situation of the locals will improve and the economic situation of Balochistan will improve in a short time.
