ISLAMABAD - Indian army has resorted to ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the reports, an Army solider was killed after Pakistan retaliated to unprovoked firing from across the border in Uri.

Indian troops violated the ceasefire in north Kashmir's Uri sector by resorting to unprovoked firing on Pakistani posts, the official said.

Pakistan Army has responded to the unprovoked firing of the Indian troops. The Army is giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression.

The Army soldier, who was injured in the Pakistani firing, was taken to a medical facility for treatment, where he succumbed.
