US President Donald Trump thanks Turkey

WASHINGTON - United States President Donald Trump has thanked Turkey for freeing American pastor Andrew Brunson after two years in custody.
In a tweet, he said it would help improve strained relations between the two countries.
Relations between the two countries have been strained by U.S. support for Kurdish fighters in northern Syria and Turkey’s plans to buy a Russian missile defense system.
