Pakistan raises Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir at UN

NEW YORK - At the United Nations, Pakistan has called on international community to focus attention on suffering of children in Indian occupied Kashmir and other regions of conflicts.

The demand was made by Pakistan s permanent representative to the world body, Maleeha Lodhi while speaking at a debate on Rights of Child in the UN s third Committee, which deals with Social, humanitarian and cultural issues.

She said from Syria to Palestine and Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, children continue to be caught in violence which has neither been chosen nor made them.

Maleeha Lodhi said children are victims of unimaginable horror everyday.
