Application moved against PTI Chief in Lahore High Court

LAHORE: (APP) An application has been filed in the Lahore High Court seeking directions to restrain Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan from inciting hatred against the government and shutting down Islamabad.

The civil miscellaneous application was filed by Atif Sattar in a pending matter through Advocate A.K Dogar.

The petitioner submitted that the respondent Imran Khan addressing a gathering at Raiwind on September 30 had not only raised allegations against the prime minister but also announced to shut down Islamabad.

He contended that the respondent had transgressed fundamental right of freedom of speech and it is considered as inciting an offence.
