Petroleum prices in Pakistan to be increased

Despite the decline in international petroleum product rates, the price of petrol in Pakistan is projected to rise from November 16. Sources indicate that global price reductions and a robust dollar may not bring significant relief to fuel costs, with a potential increase of Rs 3 per liter for petrol in the next 15 days.

In contrast, users of high-speed diesel could see relief of up to Rs 8.50 starting November 16. Additionally, kerosene prices are expected to decrease by Rs 5.5 per liter during the same period, while light diesel oil might witness a reduction of Rs 8.5 per liter.

As of November 1, the ex-refinery price of petrol was established at Rs 199.16, with expectations of it climbing to Rs 202.34 by November 15.

Concurrently, the ex-refinery price of high-speed diesel on November 1 stood at Rs 225.72, and it is anticipated to decrease to Rs 217.52 by November 15, according to sources.
