KARACHI - In a positive development, Pakistani Rupee rises further against the US dollar.
US dollar rates plunged further in the open market as dollar fell 5 paisa lower against Pakistani Rupee and the stock market saw a rise of 422 points.
The dollar became cheaper during the day on trading in the market today, after the open market rate fell 5 paisa to 155 Rupee 40 paisa while the interbank traded at Rs155 at 44 paise.
The stock market rose 422 points, after which the KSE 100 index rose to 37,818 points.
It should be noted that the stock market has been trading at the highest level in 6 and a half months. According to economic analysts, investment is likely to accelerate once the uncertain political situation in the country ends.
