Severe clashes erupt in occupied Kashmir between protesters and Indian Army

SRINAGAR - In occupied Kashmir, clashes erupted between protesters and Indian troops during cordon and siege operations in Pulwama and Islamabad districts.

The troops cordoned off Rangmullah area of Pulwama and launched search operations.

Youth took to streets and pelted stones on the troops, who lobbed teargas shells on the protesters.

Meanwhile, the personnel of Indian army, police and Central Reserve Police Force also launched a joint operation against Kashmiris who are struggling for freedom in Kokernag area of Islamabad district.
