PM Abbasi, Punjab governor reaches Jati Umra, to attend party meeting

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana have on Monday reached Jati Umra to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who summoned an important meeting of the party leadership.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to cases on Sharif family, delimitations of constituencies, next general elections and ties with the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) will come under discussion.
Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, former federal minister Pervaiz Rasheed and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq are also present at the residence of the former premier in Jati Umra.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is also likely to attend the meeting.
