Pakistani Film "SAAWAN" wins the best foreign film award at US film festival

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan film Saawan took home the best foreign film award at the 11th annual Alexandria Film Festival held in Virginia, USA.
“I am proud to announce that Saawan has won Best Foreign Film Award at the 11th annual Alexandria Film Festival held in Virginia, USA. Congratulation team Saawan on another win,” director Farhan Alam wrote on his Facebook page.
The movie has been well received and the Pakistani Academy Selection Committee nominating it for Oscar consideration in the Foreign Language Film Award category for the 2018 Academy Awards.
