ISLAMABAD: National Assembly proceeding could not be continued even on fourth day due to incompletion of quorum while united opposition boycotted parliament session over the absence of PM Nawaz in Assembly.
As per details, after the walk out of united opposition from National Assembly, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq postponed session till Monday because of incomplete quorum.
While talking to media outside Assembly, PPP senior leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that government could not meet National Assembly quorum and now senior ministers are also not coming in parliament while disappointment and fear of defeat can be seen in the government ranks.
Senior ministers are also silent over the issue of Panama leaks and no one is ready to defend Prime Minister Nawaz, Aitzaz elaborated stating that government has failed to meet quorum of NA and we have to walk out from assembly over the absence of PM Nawaz.
Aitzaz Ahsan alleged that PM Nawaz does not know about the rules of Parliament while former Premiers Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf came in Parliament with punctuality.
New strategy would be prepared for National Assembly session that is going to be held on Monday, Aitzaz stated adding that session would be meaningless if PM Nawaz does not reply opposition questions.
