Pakistan gets an offer from government of Romania

ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui urged to boost cooperation between Pakistan and Romania in Information technology and telecom sector.

The minister said Pakistan value its ties with Romania and both countries could benefit from each other's experiences in IT and Telecommunication sector.

He expressed these views in a call on meeting with Ambassador of Romania in Pakistan Nicole Goia here on Wednesday, said a news release.

Siddiqui welcomed the Ambassador of Romania in his office, and matters of mutual interest regarding IT and Telecommunication were discussed.

He said cooperation between Pakistan and Romania in Information technology and telecommunication sector was vital and the cooperation must be boost.

The Ambassador of Romania said Romania and Pakistan were enjoying good relations and Romania wanted to enhance ties with Pakistan in different fields especially in IT and Telecommunication sectors.

The Federal Minister said the incumbent government was committed to digitalis Pakistan and Romania could help them in this process.

The ambassador of Romania thanked federal minister and ensured that Romania would fully cooperate with Pakistan in the field of IT and Telecommunication.
