Asif Ali Zardari rushed to hospital in emergency

RAWALPINDI - Incarcerated Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday was rushed to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) after blood pressure of the co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party rose.

As per details garnered, Asif Ali Zardari was stressing on shifting him to a Karachi hospital.

Earlier on June 11, an accountability court handed over former President Asif Ali Zardari to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on a ten-day physical remand.

The remand will extend till June 21. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman was presented before the accountability court by a NAB team.

A day earlier, a 15-member NAB team arrested the PPP leader from his residence in Islamabad after his bail extension plea had been rejected by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
