PM Imran Khan gives special task to Jehangir Tareen: sources

Lahore: Senior analyst Imran Yaqub on Friday revealed that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has assigned a special task to Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak to create a group of lawmakers who will vote in favour of Sadiq Sanjrani in return for chair of Senate’s deputy chairman.
“Inside-aware told us that PM Imran Khan has assigned a special task to Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak. PM Khan is not willing to give money. However, the premier has stated that if Tareen and Khattak succeed in creating such a group of lawmakers who are willing to thwart no-trust motion [against Sanjrani], then government will give chair of Senate’s deputy chairman to one of the candidate from the group”, stated Yaqub.
