Several PML N leaders in line to join PTI

*LAHORE:* Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Chaudry Muhammad Sarwar has claimed that PML-N’s local government representatives, including chairmen, vice chairmen and councilors are waiting in line to join his party.

Sarwar was speaking Wednesday at a joint news conference with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leader Mian Munir, who withdrew his nomination and announced support for the PTI candidate from Lahore NA-126. At the conference, Sarwar also said that the party will nominate its chief minister after winning the elections on July 25.

Sarwar was positive that PTI will sweep the elections this time round and will emerge victorious. He said that he has toured over 15 cities and villages and was overwhelmed to see the support the people had for PTI and Imran Khan.

“Pakistanis are tired and fed up of the status quo as well as plunder and loot at the hands of PML-N and PPP.”

Condemning the attack on Haroon Bilour, Sarwar urged the caretaker government to ensure security for the PTI chairman as he was coming to Lahore for electioneering.

He also revealed that the PTI was not being provided the soft copies of voting lists under the provision of Article 293 of the Election Commission Act.

Other members of PTI also appeared positive with regard to the upcoming elections.
