Hamza will lead Nawaz’s homecoming rally, if i am arrested, says Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif said that his son Hamza Shehbaz will lead Nawaz Sharif’s homecoming rally, if he is arrested tomorrow.
“We will give Nawaz Sharif a big welcome,” said Shehbaz Sharif. “Nawaz and Maryam’s arrest would not affect party’s election campaign.”
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are returning to Pakistan a few days after an accountability court sentenced them to jail for 10 and 7 years respectively in the Avenfield properties case.
The PML-N President said over 300 workers of his party have been arrested since July 11.
Mr Sharif said that he does not want confrontation with any state institution.
The dictators had imposed martial laws in Pakistan in their individual capacity and the majority of soldiers had opposed their actions, he added.
“Every institution should work in its domain,” Mr Sharif said. “God willingly, we are going to win the upcoming elections.” APP
