Pakistan Cricket Board takes important decision over the Bangladesh Cricket Board decision on Pakistan visit
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Cricket Board takes important decision over the Bangladesh Cricket Board decision on Pakistan visit.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to meet with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) representatives in Dubai to talk about the upcoming series between both nations.
BCB has used various excuses to not play the 2-match Test series in Pakistan and remains keen on standing firm on their decision. However, PCB has asked for a valid justification.
The Bangladesh board, however, has agreed to play the 3-match T20I series in Pakistan and would like to travel back as soon as possible due to security concerns.
PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani has publicly called out BCB President Nazmul Hassan for creating unnecessary issues, especially since Pakistan is a safe country to visit for the cricketing nations.
The PCB press release read:
The Dubai meeting is a continuation of the discussion process, which the PCB has followed to reach a consensus with the BCB on its national men’s cricket team’s tour itinerary.
It is worth mentioning that Chris Gayle, a couple of days ago, made a public statement and said that Pakistan is one of the safest nations for all the cricketers.
Additionally, towards the end of last year, Sri Lanka also visited Pakistan for 2-match Test series, which went perfect from every aspect.
Following this discussing, the PCB will make a formal statement updating everyone regarding Bangladesh’s tour to Pakistan this month.
