Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal lands in yet another trouble
ISLAMABAD - Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal lands in yet another trouble .Accountability court on Monday extended the physical remand of former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal for another 7-days in Narowal Sports City case, GNN reported.
Ahsan Iqbal appealed the court to investigate Prime Minister Imran Khan in the case.
PML-N leader was produced before the court after completion of his physical remand.
During the hearing, the court has directed National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigators to complete the inquiry as early as possible as they will not get remand of the PML-N leader in future.
On December 23, PML-N's Ahsan Iqbal was arrested by NAB in Narowal Sports City Complex case.
According to details, NAB arrested the PML-N leader from Narowal Sports Complex.
NAB had begun the investigation of case against PML-N leader in July.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi had also seized the Narowal Sports City project’s record as investigation against Ahsan Iqbal had sped up last month.
