Turkish Parliament gives President Erdogan sweeping powers

Turkey, Parliament has approved the constitutional changes giving more executive powers to President and allowing two five years terms.
The changes have also allowed President to retain affiliation with a political party.
The constitutional reforms envisage presidential and general elections being held in 2019.
