Malala Yousafzai to study in Oxford University

LONDON: Malala Yousafzai gave an admission interview at the prestigious Oxford University.

The youngest winner of the Nobel peace prize says she is aspiring to study philosophy, politics and economics. Yousafzai informed media that her interview had not been easy and like any other student she was anxiously awaiting the result.

The Nobel laureate has expressed her desire to become Prime Minister of Pakistan in various interviews. In an event at Sharjah she said, “Before I thought women could only be teachers or housewives. But when I saw women role models they broadened my vision.”

It was then when she realised that she could become anything she wanted in her life. “From becoming a doctor to becoming the prime minister of Pakistan and fixing all the issues,” she said.

She also specifically mentioned Benazir Bhutto as an inspiring figure.
