US special envoy on Pak-Afghan Richard Olson praises Pak Army efforts in eradicating terrorism

RAWALPINDI: US special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Olson met with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at GHQ, Rawalpindi.
As per ISPR statement, Richard Olson lauded Pakistan’s role for the eradication of terrorism. Both dignitaries exchanged views over regional security situation particularly security situation in Afghanistan came under discussion.
Afghan reconciliatory process was also discussed in the meeting.
Special envoy appreciated the efforts of Pakistan against terrorism and paid tribute to martyrs of operation Zarb e Azab.
