Indian new High Commissioner arrives in Pakistan through Wagah border

LAHORE: Newly appointed Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan Gautam Bambawale said that he came in Pakistan with the message of peace and friendship and will try his best to further strengthen bilateral ties during his tenure.
As per details, he was taking to media at Wagah border upon his arrival in Pakistan. Gautam said that he will work for the improvement of Indo-Pak relations.
While he was questioned regarding the dialogues between Foreign Secretaries of both countries, he responded to the question and said that both countries are in contact and we will have to wait and see what would be the next step.
He was welcomed by Pakistan Rangers Wing Commander Bilal, Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and others officials.
