CDWP approves 24 projects worth over Rs184b

ISLAMABAD:Central Development Working Party has approved twenty-four projects in different sectors worth over 184 billion rupees.
The meeting of CDWP presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Sartaj Aziz referred 10 projects worth over 169 billion rupees to ECNEC for approval.
In energy sector, CDWP approved evacuation of power from Suki Kinari, Kohala and Mahl Hydro Power Project in Northern Areas.
In transport and communication, it approved up gradation of Bahawalpur, Raiwaind, Gujranwala, Karachi, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Lahore and Rawalpindi railway stations.
In physical planning, construction of Model Custom House at Gwadar was approved and in health sector, three projects were approved out of which one was referred to ECNEC.APP
