Pakistan can play an important role in mediating between Iran and Saudi Arabia: UNSG

ISLAMABAD: United Nations Secretary General UNSG Ban Ki-Moon called Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and emphasized to play his effective role for ending the tussle between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
As per details, Ban Ki-Moon said that Prime Minister Nawaz is a good leader and he has the ability to resolve the issue between Iran and Saudi Arabia. He added that PM Nawaz has friendly relations with both countries so Pakistan can play an important role in mediating between both countries.
PM Nawaz informed UNSG Ban Ki-Moon over his recent visit of Saudi Arabia and Iran and said that Pakistan is playing a key role for establishing peace and stability in the region.
