COLOMBO - Pakistan faces a setback at hands of India in the Asian Emerging Cup 2018.
India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in ACC Emerging Teams Asia cup on Thursday. A 129-run partnership between Himmat Singh and Nitish Rana helped blue shirts fix their spot in the finals.
Earlier, the entire Pakistani team walked back to pavilion on 172 in 44.4 overs. Skipper Muhammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel’s 67 and 62 respectively were only significant numbers in the entire line-up.
India, who won the toss, invited its arch-rival Pakistan to bat first.
