Jahangir Khan for proposes Squash improvement plan for Pakistan

MULTAN: (APP) Squash Icon and legend player Jahangir Khan stressed the need for establishing squash courts at school and college levels.

Talking to APP after distribution of prizes among winners of All Pakistan Azadi Squash Championship, held under the auspices of Multan Corps, here on Saturday, he said Pakistan ruled for over 30 years in the world in Squash and focus should be paid to promote it.

He said that there was no dearth of talent in the country, adding that if facilities were provided to the players Squash could be revived.

He also proposed for introduction of academies and squash courts to groom talent of the players. The Squash Icon who secured 555 victories consecutively and six time world title, appreciated Multan Corps for organizing the events.

Such events would surely help nurture skills of the players, he concluded.
