SC orders to remove Ayyan Ali name from ECL

ISLAMABAD: While dismissing the petitions of interior ministry and custom officials here at today (Wednesday), Supreme Court ordered to remove name of Ayyan Ali from Exit Control List.
As per details, SC upheld the verdict of Sindh High Court and allowed Model Ayyan Ali to travel abroad. Justice Ijaz said in his remarks that no one can be restricted to go abroad till a crime has been proven against him.
Court further added that every citizen has right of movement and constitution does not allow for restriction of citizen’s movements.
Sindh High Court also dismissed the petitions of interior ministry and custom officials and ordered to remove name of Ayyan Ali from ECL but interior ministry and custom officials filed petition in SC against the verdict of SHC.
It is also worthy to mention here that Dollar girl Ayyal Ali had been arrested from Islamabad Airport previous year in March on the charges of smuggling 5 lakh dollar to abroad.
