Several World Record broken in Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India

In the Asia Cup Super Four stage match against Pakistan, several records were set by India.

On Monday, in a crucial match of the Asia Cup Super Four stage played in Colombo, India defeated Pakistan by a massive margin of 228 runs. In this match, star Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and KL Rahul established the record for the highest partnership by Indian batsmen in the Asia Cup. Both batsmen put up a partnership of 233 runs for the third wicket, marking the biggest partnership for India against Pakistan in One Day International (ODI) cricket.

Before this, in 1996, Sachin Tendulkar and Navjot Singh Sidhu had a 231-run partnership, and in 2018, in ODI cricket, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan had a 210-run partnership. Virat Kohli also broke the world record for the fastest 13,000 runs in ODI cricket, surpassing the previous record held by the former Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar.
