In Islamabad, Bushra Bibi, the former first lady and wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has been granted bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Her lawyer, Latif Khosa, filed a pre-arrest bail on Tuesday, which the court approved. As part of the bail conditions, Bushra Bibi is required to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000. Additionally, the court has scheduled a hearing for the respondents in the Al-Qadir Trust case on September 26. Furthermore, her interim bail in the Toshakhana case has been extended until September 26.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned a plea concerning the alleged bugging of Bushra Bibi's phone calls and harassment by various institutions until September 18. The court has combined this case with another petition related to an audio leak involving Bushra Bibi and Zulfi Bukhari.
The IHC's Justice Babar Sattar acknowledged the petition and assured PTI's lawyer, Sardar Latif Khosa, that it would be heard alongside a similar case already pending in the court regarding phone tapping.
These developments in the legal proceedings involving Bushra Bibi highlight the ongoing legal challenges and controversies surrounding her, with multiple cases and allegations being addressed in the courts.
