Polling for one general seat of Senate vacated by Naimatullah Zehri started in a candid atmosphere at Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
Naimatullah Zehri was elected as member of Balochistan Assembly from Khuzdar district in the recent general elections. Thus he vacated his seat at Senate.
According to Provincial Chief Commissioner Balochistan, Niaz Ahmed Baloch total six candidates are contesting the election for the seat.
Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order in and around the assembly premises.
