PIA introduces new airline management system

*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flag carrier has purchased an airline management, sales and revenue system from a Turkish company.*
“In a major development PIA has shifted to leading Turkish, IT Solutions Company, HITIT Computer Services. The new system is in operation from 12th September, 2018,” announced the company in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier, it was reported that PIA has decided to disband Sabre and to use Turkish HTIT Computer System.
PIA was of the view, that the newly implemented software system will not only be cost effective but will also add additional value, which could improve the business activity of the cash starved airline.
“The new IT Solutions partner will definitely bring more modernization and convenience to our valued customers,” said Chairman and CEO of PIA, Muhammad Saqib Aziz. The national carrier has however, requested its customers to remain patience in case of any inconvenience during the transformation process.
