US desirous of strengthening ties with Pakistan: Ambassador Halle

ISLAMABAD – United States ambassador David Halle has said that the Trump administration is desirous of strengthened ties with Pakistan.
David Hale attended an agreement-signing ceremony in the federal capital between a US-based company and a private Pakistani bank for development of technology and innovation.
On the occasion, the US envoy said in his address that Pakistan holds a significant position in South Asian market and is one of the key allies of the States.
He said that United States was fully cooperating with Pakistan in Information Technology sector and hailed the agreement with the biggest Islami bank of Pakistan as a path to bigger market. He said that it would meet the requirement of swelling economy.
