Seoul, Pyongyang pledge to end their military confrontation: Moon Jae-in

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has said that Seoul and Pyongyang have pledged to end their military confrontation and begun a journey toward complete denuclearization and lasting peace.

In his opening remarks at the International Fleet Review held in waters off the southern island of Jeju, he said the road to peace may not be easy but the South Korea will walk that path to the end.

However, US President Donald Trump is insisting on maintaining maximum pressure until North Korea completely denuclearizes.
