Why ANP has suspended two top leaders?
PESHAWAR – The Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday has suspended two top leaders from party membership.
The memberships of two senior party leaders Afrasiab Khattak and Bushra Gohar has been suspended.
According to the details garnered, both the party leaders were suspended due to the violation of party disciplines. The party leadership accused them of violating the party discipline and damaging its interests.
The party leadership had issued a show-cause notice to the two senior party leaders last week and suspended their memberships after it failed to receive a satisfactory response on the notices from them.
In the notice issued on Monday, the party leadership acknowledged that they had received a detailed response from Gohar and Khattak, but said that it failed to satisfy them.
