US could lose war to North Korea: Former US Military Commander

WASHINGTON – Former US command pilot has written a letter to the military command, warning them that if a war broke out between the United States and North Korea, US might end up losing it since it will be far outnumbered by the North Korean troops, even when combined with the South Korean troops, reported Dunya News.

The former command pilot wrote that US would not be able to rake up its troops before the outbreak of the war in case of a conflict with North Korea. The letter was written by Lt Gen Jan-Marc Jouas and was addressed to Ted Lieu, Ruben Gallego and Senator Tammy Duckworth. All three of these recipients are originally war veterans.

He has warned that the limited scale war would actually end up in a full armed conflict and even that won’t be enough for destroying Kim Jong-un’s nuclear capability completely.

Currently, US has 28,500 personnel stationed in South Korea. This number is believed to be quite lower than what is required to engage North Korea in a conflict.

On the other hand, North Korea is continuously branding Trump as a ‘destroyer’ who is hell bent on ‘demonizing’ North Korea.

“Trump, during his visit, laid bare his true nature as destroyer of world peace and stability and begged for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula”, a statement issued by North Korea’s foreign ministry spokesperson stated according to Mirror.
