Pakistan should continue to play its role for facilitating peace talks in Afghanistan: Miller US Envoy.

ISLAMABAD: The US acting Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan Laurel Miller met with Special Assistant to PM on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad. US special representative said that Pakistan role is very important in Afghan peace dialogue. Peace in Afghanistan is not possible without Pakistan support. “Pakistan should continue to play its role in peace dialogue between Afghan government and Taliban for the peace and prosperity in the whole region.” Miller stated. Miller also admired the Pakistan efforts for promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan. While talking to the Miller, special assistance to PM on foreign affairs Tariq Fatemi said “Pakistan want to see peace and stability in Afghanistan and we are playing our role in this regard”
