Punjab government issues summer vacations notification

LAHORE – Notification regarding summer holidays was issued in Punjab. According to the details, schools all over the province will remain closed from May 25 to August 14.
Punjab government made the announcement on Friday regarding summer vacations in educational institutes. According to the latest notification, all private and public schools will remain closed during months of severe heat.
Schools will close from May 25 onwards. All public and private schools will re-open after August 14, the day of independence which is originally a public holiday.
It must be noted that previously, summer holidays were scheduled from June 1 but due to the harsh temperature and beginning of Ramadan in the last days of May, government revised the schedule.
