Indian troops martyr two more Kashmiri youth in Occupied Kashmir

In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated act of state terrorism, martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district on Tuesday.   

The youth were killed during a joint cordon and search operation launched by the Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group in Awneera area of the district.

Meanwhile, thousands of people thronged native villages of martyrs Shakir and Sayaar to participate in their funeral prayers. Multiple rounds of funerals were held in Awneera and Mochoo in Shopian and Kulgam districts to accommodate huge rush of people. The occupation authorities suspended all Internet services in the two districts.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, in a statement in Srinagar, today, paid rich tributes to the Shopian martyrs. He said that people of Kashmir were duty-bound to safeguard the precious sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri martyrs.

On the other hand, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir led by Rafiq Owasi participated in a function held to commemorate the 9th martyrdom anniversary of martyr, Tufail Matoo at Eidgah in Srinagar.
