Punjab Police put on high alert across the province

LAHORE - In Punjab, police have been put on high alert all over the province to keep a vigilant eye on the subversive activities of miscreants.
A spokesman of the Punjab Police told media in Lahore on Thursday that police have been directed to speed up the search, combing and intelligence based operation in the province. The police have also been issued directives to further beef up the security of the political leaders.
He said that the police will not allow any political party to hold a rally without permission.
