Suicide blast in western Afghanistan

FEROZKOH: Two people were killed and six others injured in a suicide blast in Ferozkoh, the capital of western Ghor province, on Saturday, an official said, Pajhwok news has reported.

Deputy Police Chief Ziauddin Saqib said the suicide blast took place in a house this afternoon. It could not be ascertained that who the target of suicide bomber was, he added.

He, however, said the bomber was planning something when his explosives went off early.

Jumma Gul Yaqubi, head of the Civil Hospital, said a child was killed and six injured, including three women, had been evacuated to the hospital.

He added one injured person was in critical condition.
