Rana Sanaullah running Punjab police practically, says Dr Tahirul Qadri

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced to launch an anti-government movement from January 17.

Addressing a press conference after the Action Committee meeting on Thursday, he asked the workers to come with full preparation as it would be last round of the protest. “We will protest within the ambit of the law and the constitution,” he said.

He hoped that leaders of the opposition parties will participate in the protest.

The PAT chief said that Law Minister Rana Sanaullah is running the Punjab police. “We are coming to oust those who have made politics as investment,” he said. “Just making an officer the OSD will not work. We will also come out for justice over the Kasur tragedy as well as Model Town tragedy.”

Before the Action Committee meeting, PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the sequel of killing the protesters had reached Kasur from Model Town.
