Pakistan facing new geo political pressures due CPEC

ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says roadmap to formulate National Internal Security Policy is centered on goals defined in vision 2025 envisaging sharing peace, stability and development.
Chairing a high level meeting on formulation of National Internal Security Policy 2018-2023 in Islamabad today (Friday), he said present government has steered the country towards progress by enabling peace and stability.
Ahsan Iqbal said political stability plays vital role for development which requires avoiding conflicts in all forms and manifestations.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor has changed Geo-Political equilibrium in region due to which new Geo-Political pressures are developing on Pakistan.
The participants of this meeting approved detailed roadmap for policy formulation process and a national conference on internal security.
