Minor girl sexually assaulted in Karachi

KARACHI – Police have on Friday arrested a watchman of a school in Karachi’s Ibrahim Hyderi area after he was beaten up by the family of a minor girl for alleged allegations of sexual assault.
As per details, the family of a minor girl beat up the gatekeeper of a private school and handed him over to the police.
After being informed, police and Rangers reached the school and took the situation under control. The law-enforcement agencies took the gatekeeper in custody.
Talking to media, SSP Rao Malir Anwar said that the investigation was underway and it would be before time to say anything.
The father of the minor child said that no incident of sexual assault occurred, adding that he don’t even know why people turned violent as he only went to school to register complaint.
On the other hand, Director Schools Mansoob Siddiqui said that the watchman held minor girl’s hand to which the father of the girl told the area residents who turned violent.
