Pakistan will be made narcotics-free country: Shehryar

State Minister for Interior Shahryar Afridi has said Pakistan will be made narcotics-free country.
Addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Monday, he said the operation against narcotics will be extended to every nook and corner of the country.
He said ten tons of narcotics worth forty billion rupees is being burnt to ashes today.
He lauded the role of Pakistan Coast Guard in controlling spread of narcotics in the country and said all departments concerned are playing their role in this regard.
He said that observing coast guard day every year is aimed at making the country free of narcotics.
Shahryar Afridi said efforts at international level are also needed to control spread of narcotics.
He said fence was erected at Pak-Afghan border to control narcotics.
